Time to take a look at something a little different for the channel. Today we are going to take a look at a EDC style tactical pen from the master James Williams.
Sleek, elegant and simplistic in its design. This should make for a welcome addition to anyone's self defense EDC kit

Working private security i learned to carry a pen for quickly writing down license plates /descriptions . It became a habit i continue even after that job ended . I have the gen 1 pen and i must say it’s quite amazing minus the cap issues (being loose fitting)

im torn on tac pens. They seem pretty cool, but I don't usually carry a pen so I'm not sure if I would use it or not. Definitely something I would prob like in a subscription box, but not sure I would buy it otherwise. Keep up the good work, climbing towards 1000 more and more every day!

This is the first one I’ve carried every day. Others I have seem to wanna pack a crap ton of things into them. This one was beautiful in its simplicity And thanks brother. I’m hoping to hit 1k soon 😂😂😂😂😂. It’s a small watermark, but a important one 👍💯

I owned a Generation 1 and now have this one, I lost the first generation one though somewhere a long the way. I like both, but there are some things I like better and some I do not like on the second generation version. The first gen had a flat cap, which I preferred, while the second one is more ramped, i find at times that this will result in my hand being scratched when i go into that pocket, which is not really awful, but not my favorite thing, also this makes it feel less comfortable to me when using it for its defensive purpose, creates a little more of a hot spot and is a tad sharp as a result. The first one felt more comfortable to me. But the clip as a result feels more stable, i feel the retention is better too, i have not had the problem like the first one of the cap unscrewing and the pen would just fall into my pocket, the second gen version feels like they solved that (at least so far, i have only owned it for a short time). They switched from a screwed on cap to a set cap, this is better to me, maybe a change of clip breaking and can not replace it, but CRKT will send a new cap if the item is still in production. The clip is the same, but I feel they could have rounded off some more edges, i stabbed myself once under my nail trying to get it out of a pocket, which wasnt the end of the world, but not the best lol. Ultimately though, i prefer the shape and size of the second one, when i saw it in pictures i thought it was not going to be as nice, but once i picked one up i started liking it more. The pen itself writes well enough, and feels comfortable to write with when capped, its just a standard space pen cartridge rebranded for CRKT. I would give the pen about a 7 out of 10 for me. Fix those minor issues with the clip and the cap and I think it would be an even better choice though, but for the price it is worth it if you do not find those things a deal breaker.

Sharp looking pen. Doesn’t scream tactical/weapon. It can be inspected and all they will fine is the ink cartridge. Right now my edc pen is the Zippo pen from PMP Prep Box.

Thanks for the review but its frustrating that there is so little to show me about the pen yet you still did not say/demonstrate if when you remove the cap it fits on the opposite end. Does the cap, I would expect it to, fit on the opposite end of the writing pen. Hopefully, it just snaps on firmly on either end.

That's an assault pen. It can write 30,000 offensive words in less than a second. When upgraded to a ghost pen that rate doubles. Civilians should not have such powerful pens
