I bought mine in 2021. After that, I didn't bother with other tactical pens then just last month (December 2022), I went on a buying spree of other tactical pens. I bought a CRKT Tao 2, a Boker Recoil Commando and a Boker Tactical Pen. To top things off, I found a Williams Design Tactical Pen 2. The Williams pens are my favorites and between the two, I still prefer the first.

Are the tactical pens tsa approved for international travel?

I like the tag, makes it easy to find my keys and grab them in my pocket... but sadly it is going bye bye soon, redoing my keychain with some new stuff I'd like to test.

Great pen...until the o-ring in the cap comes loose. After that, the cap will not stay on. This usually happens within a few weeks of every day use. Numerous references to this issue on Amazon.

That's great. I'm sure there are others who've had the same experience. Unfortunately, my experience was different. It took 2, maybe 3 weeks of (light) daily use before the o-ring became dislodged. And, as I said, based on Amazon reviews, there are many others who've had the same issue. I really liked the pen. It's 99% awesome. Unfortunately, that 1% malfunction ruins the pen. I've reached out to CRKT, thru email, and their FB page, to see if there has been a solution for this issue...so far, they have not responded.

A year ago we bought everyone at our Martial Arts academy this pen and developed a class in training how to use it (if you take the class you get the pen). I also ordered a bunch of replacement o-rings and pocket clips from CRKT anticipating possible issues and offer the parts free to students as needed... out of probably 80 pen users, we had one guy that broke the clip after about 4 months of EDC. I will contend that while not the perfect pen, it has no more or less issues than and other tactical pen I've used or tested... with most issues of tactical pens in general being broken clips, striped threads, bad ink cartridges, and failed o-rings. The vast majority of Tactical Pens on amazon (Including the the CRKT) have a 4 star rating... which means about 80% of reviews are 4-5 stars, with typically 60-65% being 5 (thats how the amazon rating system typically works out).... does that mean they are all the same??? No... they all have many satisfied users, and a few users that have issues. Show me a product on Amazon... I'll show you a product that some people have issues with...

@@shannonlenz1098screw on would take long to take off if it’s in pen mode and you need the tip. The space pen cart just don’t write smooth enough to be a a daily use for writing. I like it for peace of ind when I can’t carry a blade like at work

I tried to walk into the courthouse to file some marriage documents with my wife and the cops at the front spotted mine when we went through the metal detector . They took it from me 😅 i assume the cops were some tactical equipment enthusiast otherwise they wouldn’t have noticed at all
