The Overland and the Tuna would probably be my picks for best CRKT knives released in 2020. I'm not a huge CRKT fan but they do seem to put out a couple cool knives every year. I'd just like to see them offer more lower priced knives with something better than 8cr13mov. It's not a horrible steel it's just that there's better available now for sub $50 prices. Great video once again JB.

This is a great design. I don't know if the 8CR13MOV has the same qualities of the D2 version (black G10), but the blade glides through boxes. You don't see that quality in thick blades. It's not particularly slicey though. I think it is the polished surface of the blade. Very smooth. I wish this design got the many variations in the steel and scales that we get with other well-designed knives, like the Penguin and Spyderco models.

I like the design alot great overall design and a good user. Not my cup of tea as I don't love steel frame locks for some reason. But for the money I could see how alot of people would like it . Excellent review like always.

Love this knife. The price is killing me. Schwartz did his own fixed blade version of this knife that actually makes sense. It's more expensive but it's a fixed blade & I think it's in MagnaCut?? Or some high-end steel. So there's real value behind the investment. More re-sale value if it's an issue.

I always pick on CRKT because of their pricing! They have some really good models but price them higher than materials warrant!

Great knife from CRKT. Sweet design, love that blade shape! But they shot the moon on that price! I could see picking it up for around 40ish. I wonder if you're paying more for the designer than the materials

It’s a really good knife. I like mine a whole lot. It’s great at slicing and my action is butter smooth. It’s knice to see it getting more attention. Awesome video brother

I really like the look and design of this knife, I am just struggling with paying nearly $60 for teflon washers and 8CR steel. In a world of Civivi, CJRB, Honey Badgers, etc., etc., CRKT needs to up its game. If I did buy one of these, it would only be with the intention of replacing the washers with phosphor bronze washers, which you cant get for like, what .50 cents?

I really like the look of this one from the show side, however I really dislike the whole trend of show side/lock side not matching. If this were a liner lock with that green and orange on both sides I might have to watch for a sale on it at some point but as is it's a pass from me.

Hey bud I'm actually thinking about getting both this and and the tuna and personally I love 8 cr cuz i can quickly tune it up before work on the strop and it's good for the day yes it only lasts a day lol but I prefer that...

Appreciate the review. I still don't like (sorry Brad) the orange. Just not a big orange fan. The battleworn look on none scale side looked good. I agree with LTK what is with the party on front and nothing on other side. It may be a good knife for some but thin and short handle won't work for me. That price is crazy in my opinion for what you get. I don't see myself getting it but wouldn't blame anyone who liked it for getting it.

Not real big on all orange (sorry Brad) knives but the orange accents on this one look pretty good to me. Yeah...the price just makes me shake my head! I had the M40 Deadbolt in for review and I just couldnt get through the review! I was just so frustrated with CRKT. $110 for a 1.4116 knife with an overdone button lock....ridiculous!!! I see now that the handle angle complements the deep belly on that blade, and that you have to grip behind the angle in the handle. I do like the color scheme. But yeah, that's too high for 8Cr13. Similar size knives from other manufacturers seem to run about half that for the same materials.

Crkt kills me man they get great designs if they could just step it to d2 or anything better than 8cr. With how competitive the budget segment is right now there no reason to spend more than$20-$30. Where this is in price you could get almost any civivi in d2 or 9cr with great action and qc.

I have liked quite a few of the designs but havent been overly impressed with CRKT's execution or the value in the knives themselves. The Overland is a pretty good knife but near $60 or an 8CR13 knife??? Better value options out there in my opinion! Thanks John.
