If I may ask, could Carlos or anyone on the finance side explain in one of the episodes how the market (the downside of it) impacts the business as a whole? How do you manage payments for store, employees, or general lifestyle? I assume when you make good money during a good market you adapt to a certain lifestyle as well but knowing that the market can turn around how do you prepare for that? I like both with and without beard. I have a beard myself. If you decide on letting it grow again, maybe keep it a little shorter. No beard does make you look a few years younger. A certain palpable tension in the deals, a visit to a neighboring watch dealer, apprehension that intertwines with anticipation in ''the case of the mutant beard'', a jubilant feverishness in the astonishing result and Carlos who ardently explains his methods to us… I barely had time to say: “What just happened?’’ that already we have to wait for the next episode. Carlos' thinner, grayer beard was my personal favorite but at the end of the day, Carlos is Carlos and his feverish personality cuts through any hairy barrier! Whether he looks like Wolverine, a wise philosophy professor or his sisters..., his humor and moods quickly remind us that there's only one Carlos and no mustache or beard will ever enclose him in one single mould! A beautiful metaphor for this family business that constantly renews itself to the delight of those who adore them. The captivating experience started by Dan and Natalie (the enchantress) on the exchange of watches is becoming more and more riveting with each new acquisition! What a wonderful, inventive, educational and captivating initiative! I must admit RM's are growing on me, the intricacy of the dials and workmanship are amazing. I see the detailing more and more the longer and more often I see them. It varies from jeweler to jeweler. I've seen some jewelers mark up gold chains 100%, while some others are closer to 20-30%. Profit margins on watches are a lot lower than that.

Flip them, trade up for special watches you want. Throwing 200 grand around is not fair. The prices will keep going down till they have to have it. Carlos I want 36 mm day date with trismo 3 color band to buy and keep around ten grand. Believe it or not the salmond dial with Roman numerals is the most rare watch. Diamond dials or bezel diamond is awesome. Rubies, emerald dial, diamonds on dial is gorgeous. I've seen AROUND
