went to the high school of music and art with Mackie. spoke to him sometimes in the lunchroom.. he was a famous graffiti artist (real OG) who used to tag HYPER on NYC subway trains. he lives up to it.

HYPER.... damn I remember seeing that tag everywhere. for some reason I think he was up on the F train. fucking HYPER was everywhere... that's something I never knew about Mackie, although I do know a thing or two about being a writer :)

And it isn't easy, especially as people get older, to hold all that down with one kick pedal.

Think he`s probably sick to the high teeth of these 2 songs and just going through the motions. Why does he look younger now than he did in the 90`s? Look at footage from Fun Loving Criminals compared to now.

...the ROLEX has to wind itself, being automatic, also too expensive to leave when playing :)

what cliched chord progressions ...sorry , love the energy - but lazy writing

@Risk 74 sounds like bad black sabbath .......semi tone down riffing ....unimaginative to my ears ....great energy tho ....but to me ...its not enough...each to their own tho
@lifeandliberty01723 жыл бұрын
Yes, by the standards of today. But 30 years ago, writing riffs with almost entirely half steps was new territory, even Sabbath didnt take it as far as bands like Cro Mags and Discharge did. Just get a little perspective.
