The audience sang and danced with him from start to finish. With the song Rim tim tagi dim performs for the first time as a performer. It's his first performance! He has more passion than everyone in ESC combined! He is the only one in ESC who is the author of the text, music and arrangements and a performer. He has no 18 authors behind him, like some singers, nor money. He recorded the video with his girlfriend, grandmother, friends and relatives. A text that everyone can identify with. Humane, humble, worked with children with special needs, has a shelter for cats...in short, a wonderful young man!!! In the end, he wrote the lyrics for the album of the band Mono Inc., "Ravenblack", which reached the first place in the official German listenership chart, and Marko received an award for this achievement.

(This is copy/paste comment from someone and it's perfectly explained)->WHY this song should win ESC. Beside being so highly catchy and relatable. He himself wrote his lyrics, made music, arangement and came up with this staging in 1 MONTH (doing all other things like interviews, official video etc) as he came to competition as a reserve. His girlfriend is in charge of his visuals and his brother is a drummer, and everything is made mostly with a help of his family and close friends. This guy delivered, not only a song, but values too. He's not bringing nudity, cursing and there's no any other provocation inside his lyrics or visuals. That's what ESC is all about. It's the essence of this festival. It's a SONG competition made by an author himself. Marko himself is not aware of what he delivered here becouse he's such a humble and kind soul, which is such a rarity in the world these days. He's an artist indeed and I'm so very happy he finally decided to take that step and pursue his solo career after so many years being a band member and writing songs for others. Wish him all the best in life

All that is happening in the WORLD, and in MALMO, is not really good. We need to show that we WANT the Europe, and the rest of the world to cling more to humility, calmness, being true, being human, respect one another, unity. And what is the best way now? We have Marko aka BL, showing how to treat another human being, an ordinary guy from small country, wrote and composed the song, came to MALMO, and shoved that you can be normal human being, and still be loved by millions, and still with both feet on the ground. Audience recognized that, the way arena sang with BL is an expression of desire that honest and good people realized that UNITY and LOVE, TOGETHERNESS and caring for one another, solving problems together; is the most NEEDED thing IN THIS MOMENT for all human kind. WE have to unite. If we can unite for three minutes to amplify and spread love all over, then we can do it all the time. Because good, and love, light and kindness are the way. UNITE AND LOVE: Meow! YOU KNOW HOW! What is stopping us to be all the time like those three minutes? UNITY! So ty MARKO PURIŠIĆ, there is still hope!

Small villages are dying out because old people dies, young leave in search of better life. It is not only in small villages, it is everywhere. Croatia got this problem for years, and it is not only there, it is on other countries in balkans and Europe and you can find that in other parts of world. If you cant survive with miserable monthly income you will leave to find better luck somewhere else. This song is about true problems. It seems you do not know anything about it, but yes you voting and roting for Israel. .Do you think she will win because of situation in Israel? If politics play its hands, probably, if fairness play she will not. I wont say she have bad song, she do not, and her performance is stellar, but there are better songs this year.
