Croatia Road Trip via Slovenia

We took a break from renovating our Italian villa and took a road to Croatia!
We first drove to the border of Italy and Slovenia and then traveled to Croatia. We visited Plitvice Lakes National Park, Trogir and Dubrovnik.

It was a big mistake not to visit Ljubljana. A beautiful old town with a castle above the river, a beautiful bridge with three arches, the whole center accessible on foot during a beautiful walk. Excellent food, wine, beer, let's say on a boat ride along the Ljubljanica River. And many more...

What a beautiful road trip you took. Gorgeous hike you took in the National Park. The falls are fabulous, and it has restaurants along the trail which is not something we find here, as you well know! The rooms you booked online did not disappoint you and looked charming. Croatia is on our travel wish list. This has fueled that fire in us to go! Thank you for sharing this wonderful travel vlog.

So, so sorry about your kitty. I know how hard that is. I watched your channel while you were in Portugal because that's my #1 place on my retirement list, but I'd love to hear more about your life in Italy...normal things like cost of living, people, healthcare, taxes (does your area qualify for the 7%?), Vet care, grocery shopping, etc. Italy did make my list of possibilities...I've been there and loved it! Would love your view as far as daily living. Congratulations on your house - it looks amazing.

What a lovely countries with beautiful natural wonders. The boardwalks along the lakes are so lovely...we do that a lot in Australia too. So sorry about your pussy cat...I'm glad you got to do things that make you both happy. Trogir looks so pretty despite the heat and I'd say that I've added those places to my "must visit" list!!! It's way too long LOL 🤣😍🤩🤗😘
