This is my first amigurumi and only the second thing I’ve ever crocheted and it turned out very cute for my first attempt. Hopefully as I grow as a crocheter I can make it better but this was a very good tutorial. Since it’s my first time it took me a while but i’m sure with practice i can make them quicker! Thank you for this

I found this video of your via Pinterest and I LOVE that cute bunny! I haven't crochet in over +20 years (as a teenage I crochet a hat to my big figure / toy, ahah!) but I want to try this! I know my big sister would love this so I aim to make her one as a Christmas gift :) Thank you for easy and simple video! I don't understand all word instructions but your clean and simple video helps with that A LOT!

@@SweetSofties I need to get right yarn. I have only wool yarn from socks (I knit too) and that yarn is not suitable for this. I just tried and the result is horrible, always leaving a hole on top and so on. Yarn is too thin and it doesn't make the same "square shaped pattern" as your fuzzy yarn does. Not to mention I also have too small crochet hoot :'D I need right tools and yarn. Luckily there's still time before Christmas for me to get the right stuff and learn this pattern :) Also, I need to ask since I get confused when I've crochet a circle. When we start to crochet this bunny, there will be a tail (yarn) which will remain on top. Is that "tail yarn" on top as a sign that when I come to it again, I have gone around a full circle / those 16 stitches? I have absolutely horrible memory and I get confused easily so I need to have that "tail" as my mark of a full circle or keep writing everything now on a paper when I have stitch those 16 stitches. Sorry if I explained this badly! I'm not familiar with English crochet words plus I'm self-taught about English. Thank you!
@SweetSofties7 ай бұрын
@@marjo4987 Regarding the starting yarn tail, it may be on the inside or outside depending on how you crochet! You will want to look at the stitches to see which side is the right side, and which side is the wrong side. My starting yarn tail tends to stick out when I have the right-side out, so I need to pull the yarn tail into the amigurumi before I finish. I would recommend keeping track of the start of the round by either counting (which requires memory or writing down which round you're on) or by using a stitch marker. I usually use a yarn scrap as a stitch marker. Hope this helps!! I think your English is great!

I'm not sure why you wouldn't just do the ears in the round instead of doing it separately? Feet can be made as bobbles in the round as you go also. 😏

@@SweetSofties Also, mine turned out perfect! I started crocheting from a Woobles kit, Pierre the Penguin, and I was "HOOKED" after that! They're a little pricey for me to buy a new one every couple of days so, I turned to the Internet for patterns and tutorials and bought a bunch of plush yarn at the craft store my boyfriend works at! Again, thank you so much.

After creating the body, I see that I need separate yarn to do the ears and legs! I do not want to cut my “body” yarn before it is finished to get yarn for those parts. Can you please explain how much yarn is needed for the body and how much for the extremities??? ( for my next one)
@stacysecoy55409 ай бұрын
You basically are cutting the yarn with enough to sew closed (r9) I just watched her little bird video, and she adds the feet after R9. Hope that helps. I think I might add my ears and such after r9. ❤

I didn't quite get the part where we still have the yarn attached to the body after R8 but we need same yarn to add ears and arms - do we have to have 2 sets of yarn or have separate long yarn for this details prepared before starting the body? ;-;
@grsrtg13 күн бұрын
Just eyeball it to leave a tail long enough to do the dec. round and cut the yarn, so you can work to create everything else :)
@SweetSofties12 күн бұрын
I just eyeball it like @grsrtg said but sometimes I also simply re-attach yarn to the body if I cut it for crocheting the other parts! :)
