I love this totural! It's very easy to follow. I'm not new to crocheting. I learned how from my mother, but she only taught me how to do chains and double stitch before she passed away. I've made blankets, pillows, clothing, etc from those basic stitches throughout the years. I'm finally starting to learn more and these videos are helping me so much! You are making crocheting fun again for me. Thank you for bringing the joy back!

Beautiful, thanks so v much, I've just made my first flower in 'kingfisher' colours with a Sirdar cotton DK yarn (a strong aqua colour, orange, brown and cream) looks divine. Stupid question I know .... do I join all the sides the same way and at the same time? I'm wanting to join lots of flowers for a shawl, thanks again, love your site, Jan
@bellacococrochet10 жыл бұрын
Jan Kuhnert Hi! I'm not sure what you mean by the same way at the same time? I'd love to try and help you more x
@cazuolmanjes12597 жыл бұрын
I think Jan means, do you tie off at each side of the six sides of the hexagon or continually going around in one go around the entire six sides and tie off once. I was wondering the same thing
@Dodgystitch2 жыл бұрын
I love your videos , taught me to do a granny square so I thought I'd try doing something different so I've had a go at the african flower and my first time doing it I've made 1 mistake it's not really noticeable but I know it's there lol but I know now for the next one where I went wrong , I wanted to ask I have a rainbow yarn can I do it in one go without the stopping and changing colour just carry on the pattern with the same wool .
@bellacococrochet2 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much 😊 Yes you could absolutely use a rainbow yarn, or even just one solid colour throughout, so you don’t have as many ends to sew in - but it will obviously look a little different to how it does when using different colours for each round.

So, when the flowers all connected, each corner will have more than one US single crochet, or if there is one already, you skip it?
@gigglymonkey12 Жыл бұрын
I wish there were counts of how many stitches I should have. Especially round 4. I think mine is off because the last part is frustrating for me because I don’t have enough singles to have it have 4 going down and 4 going up.
@gigglymonkey12 Жыл бұрын
Also for the cream colored round, I wish you had just said skip 2 instead. That would have made it much easier
