Just made these using both this video and the pattern on your website. I have big UK size 8 feet so i used an Aran wool and a size 4mm hook, i also added 3 extra rows between rows 3 and 10, they came out the perfect fit. Will be making more soon. Thanks, i love them. Andrea xx

I think that this video is an older video but I’ll ask anyway. Hopefully I will get lucky and get a response. :) I’m not sure what the size chart is telling me to do. How do I make a size 9.5 slippers? Like is it the same crochets into the magic circle? Or so I do more rows before getting to the fancy part? I’ve been admiring these slipper for a long time!

You can also use "puff paint" for the bottoms to stop sliding on the floor - just put drops on the bottom or a pattern and let completely dry per instructions on the bottle. Since this paint is for fabric it can be washed.

Awesome pattern, really easy to follow. Mine fit fine in length but the heel was a bit too short so I went back and added another row to the middle 12 on the top of the back (6 on each side of the middle). I sc2tog to help tighten it as well as adding height (I tried just sc but it was still a little loose for my liking). Hope that helps if anyone had the issue as well.

I was thinking about using a 4.25mm hook. Using a 4mm did it make a big difference in the overall size of the slippers? Ive never made slippers. Im still a beginner.

Awrsome pattern! Very pretty, quick and easy. The heel is not perfect, but that's okay. If you have tiny feet like me (US size 5) I recommend to skip row 9. Thanks a lot for the pattern, I'm gonna make a bunch of them and gift them to my daughter, nieces, friends...

On my 2nd slipper.....for some reason, I've added stitches somewhere because I don't think you explain very well starting the rows, and adding that first double crochet. I ended up with 13 in the row when starting the single crochets.... I'll figure it our but maybe clarify more when and when not to add the DC into the chain....

Can you help me make sure I've matched the correct yarn weight with the hook? (Maybe a basic question but I find this the hardest part of following patterns!) You recommend D size 3.25 mm hook with a worsted weight Aran yarn? But this kind of yarn is normally done with a bigger hook like 5.5-6.5mm? So that means the stitches will be tighter with less gaps i.e. good for slippers? I'm from Australia so just want to make sure I'm getting the measurements right 😊

Correct. The smaller hook size will produce a smaller, tighter stitch.
