Oh my gosh. I just watched your Bead Stitch tutorial this morning and loved it. Now a pattern video to add to my to do list! Thank you. Can’t wait for my shoulder rotator cuff injury to be healed. Lost 6 months of crocheting already. ☹️

I've been using the bead stitch for a few years, quite often.

Wow no wonder the written pattern wasn't working for me. Someone needs to review that pretty please. 2hrs of frustration and then a drive to a friends so I could view the video. Not everyone can afford the Internet. It says start on wrong side then it says turn to right side. Somewhere else it states start from row 2 if not starting from scratch. My poor brain is toast. Frogging again and hopefully I made good enough notes for when I get back home. Thanks to you & my friend for the opportunity to learn.

Roxanne B it does depend. This was for a “game “ one the site for prizes and if when it was an active competition certain rules had to be followed. So the video and written instructions are different. I hope you were able to do this. But for his Demonstrational purpose on this for people that only wanted to learn the one stitch out of 7 in the Chevron pattern he finished off and reattached. The yarn is there to mark the front of the project ( right side) because this stitch shows up better on the right side of the project.

This is gorgeous! What brand of yarn were you using? Is it soft?

With the edge don’t forget to chain one and do two Single crochet then do the five before you have to do the three together. Or the project will be unbalanced on the side that you turn on, it also applies to the end that you do two Single crochet’s so it’s balanced. Don’t forget to go into the skipped stitches or the 12 count will not come out.

Hi there- I watch several of your videos. I'm wondering if I can sell the items I make from your patterns or do I need some special permission? Thanks!

Hi, I'm a beginner intermediate, trying to make this pattern work for me. Now, my problem is that I've finished my first bead row and I'm trying to do my next single crochet row, but when I do, I find I have 6 stitches leading to the first valley and I don't know how to fix it. Please help!

The Orange Reacher I'm running into the exact same problem and I've been crocheting for a few years! I'm still trying to figure it out!

The Orange Reacher I am running into the same problem. I can not figure out what is wrong. I wish he would do another tutorial with a few more rows so that we can see what we are doing wrong if anything.

Jakki Tucker I ended up just faking it, figuring out what stitches would make it look the same, I think I thew in a few V stitches- I finished it a little while ago.

I know this is a late reply: but there’s five plus 2 at the turn. So in theory you would have seven Single crochet in total but if you don’t count the turn or edge of the Chevron you should only have five, so somehow stitches are being added. I only have added going up the valley or down it now on the sides/edges, most times. The only time I mess that up is when I make it a afghan size and lose count of my stitches.
