2-5 years. Hat circumference - 17.5” -19" approx. Hat Height below ears - 7” / 18cm 4.00mm / G-6 crochet hook. Make a Chain 3 Do not count as a stitch R 1. Skip 2 chains, in the next chain 12 hdc, join round with Sl St with the first worked stitch. = 12 sts R 2. Ch 1, start in the same stitch (hdc, 2 hdc in the next stitch), repeat (), hdc in the previous round slip stitch space, Sl St = 24 sts. R 3. Ch 1, start in the same stitch (hdc, 2 hdc in the next stitch), repeat (), Sl St. = 36 sts R 4. Ch 1, start in the same stitch (hdc 2, 2 hdc in the next stitch), repeat (), Sl St. = 48 sts. R 5. Ch 1, start in the same stitch (hdc 3, 2 hdc in the next stitch), repeat (), Sl St. = 60 sts. R 6. Ch 1, start in the same, 2 hdc, hdc 2, 2 hdc ( hdc 3, 2hdc) () repeat, the last stitch in the previous round slip stitch space hdc. = 67 sts. R 7. The Wrong side. skip 1 small the same stitch, skip next stitch cluster in the next stitch, (skip 1, dc, skip 1, cluster), repeat (), Sl St, Ch 1, turn R 10. The Right side. (FPdc, dc in Ch 1 space, FPdc, dc on the top of the dc, Repeat (), the last FPdc, dc in Ch 1 space, FPdc, Sl St, Ch 1, turn Repeat Rounds 9 and 10. until hat height is 7" approx. These hats I made without ribbed edging. ( I hope in this pattern no mistakes :), quickly worked out) one day I will make a video too, but at the moment I have other projects to do, and I have to finish off. If for 2 years old this hat is too big, I have pattern for 1-2 years old.

How can I make a little smaller for a pre teen please I love this hat .

@@maryjowaszkiewicz9350 You can use 4.50mm crochet hook. The hat will be smaller in a natural way. Also, this hat fits for 19- 20" head circumference without stretching out. Just can make ribbing 1 round less if need it.
