Best instructional video for this top, I've seen! The simplest pattern ever can be so aggravating, when its explained poorly. Every one I've printed has had a tiny missing detail. Finally... with your video, this top pattern makes sense & I can whip these up easily now, thank you!

How many chains for a 36D
@sarahhyeahh8 жыл бұрын
I've taught myself to crochet and while this pattern is very easy and wonderful to follow, I am having the same problem over and over. How do you make it so that the bottom does not curve?? It seems like whenever I skip that first sc after ch1 & turn, it makes the bottom begin to curve upwards as I go on. Is there something I am missing? Or should I not be skipping that first sc? Thanks!
@rhyliebest52638 жыл бұрын
that happened to me so much and I just stuck to making halters or other designs that dont need that cup
@hourglas397 жыл бұрын
Hi, you dont have to skip the first chain if you dont want to, that would prevent the cup from curving. Instead of chaining 10, chain 5 and use the same instructions as in this video with the exception of not skipping the first chain, your see that your cups wont curve using this method :). Happy crocheting.

This is beautiful! but will it hold up well with prolonged water exposure, such as swimming or going to the beach?
@rainbowwarrior2179 жыл бұрын
+Danahe arenas That is a great question! I have seen some girls wearing theirs on the beach, I have not tested mine in the water yet but I can not imagine it being a practical suit to swim in. However, I have issues with normal bikinis so I am sure there are girls who can pull it off! I would test it in the shower before taking it to the pool or ocean :)

@rainbowwarrior2179 жыл бұрын
imani cooper That's a tough question and something I'm working on figuring out now as I'm making some tops for friends.... So far I have been using the general guideline of 10 rows for A cup, 12 rows for B cup, 14 rows for C cup, and so on... However, I have found that this doesn't always work out and some people prefer more coverage than others. Hope this helps, hopefully I'll figure something thats more exact :/

hey, im the ultimate begginer at crotchet, so I don't know much about it! I'm kinda of afraid that the material will become see-through when in contact with water. is it possible to pad or protect it someway? by sewing a white protection on the inner part of the bikini? will that destroy that crotchet? wonderful video and tutorial!!! and wonderful bikini! :D
