@@KnitcroAddict no I didn't. I just measured myself from shoulder to shoulder and made a chain long enough making sure it was an even number so I was able to divide evenly for the front panels. ☺️. I do have a question for you.. I was trying to purchase the pattern for the green bag you made but it won't let me purchase it.. when I click on it, it brings me back to the main screen.. any ideas? Am I doing something wrong?

This yarn and stitches used are very forgiving for this project. I don’t usually wash and block them before sewing them, but it’s always great to block them before you sew them as it relaxes the fibers and stitches. I’m just too impatient for it lol. I just found you on KZbin. 😊. This is a very beautiful cardigan. So I decided to make it and it's decades from when I was crocheting last time. I bought exactly the same yarn and followed your instructions. I finished the back panel. It looks very small. It's 12.5" wide and 29.5 long. Your dimensions are respectively 19.42" and 36.92" bloked. Will my garment stretch this much after blocking or should I add few more raws. I'm size small too. Hope you can help me here. Thanks😊

You can use one solid color as long as it’s 6 super bulky yarn. If you are very practiced at adjusting patterns, you could use a K hook, but if you have doubts, I recommend using 10mm. It will turn out much smaller if you follow this tutorial with a K hook.

Am I discriminating against XS? XL? M? I made a small because I wear a small. The pattern available for purchase includes sizes from XS-XXL. I don’t physically have the time to make free everything for everyone. I give a ton away for free, including patterns other than small, but I’ve got to eat too. I understand if people can’t or won’t pay for a pattern, so I’ve included the gauge. This takes work to figure out, on my part initially but also on your part, but it allows those that can’t/won’t pay an option to make any size they like. If this isn’t enough, then you’re only discriminating yourself. I’m sure there are lots of free patterns in your size available online. I hope you have better luck with them.
