Chic, minimalist and wonderfully versatile, the Stonewash Coatigan is the perfect fall layer! This a modern crochet cardigan features tapered sleeves and hidden pockets for a coat-like look (hence the name Coat-igan :) ). Despite its long length this pattern only requires shoulder and armhole seaming, which greatly reduces the time you spend sewing!

My bust is 32 inches. I'm making small size and I'm on 25th row now. I'm worried that it'll look too big on me but I guess I could make another one with extra small size next time.😅 BTW, Grace, I love your clear instructions and pattern.🥰 Edit: I'm making pockets now and I reached 40th row with just 19 pocket rows. The stitch markers for pockets are on 21st row. So, I think we only need to make 19 pocket rows to reach 40th row.

Is it just me but it looks like you're crocheting in the back loop only (BLO) but you don't say that nor does the written pattern say that. What am I missing? Are you doing half double crochet in BLO in rows 2 through 20?

Hi Cindy, I'm crocheting normal HDCs, the yarn is just very fuzzy and doesn't have great stitch definition. If I was only crocheting Back loop HDCs the entire coat would be ribbed :) Grace
