Hello! I just gave a few questions. 1. Will any type of yarn will work for this like plush yarn? I usually use Loops and Treads or Sweet Snuggles. 2. How many skeins of yarn did you use to make this? 3. How long did it take for you to make this? That’s all sorry if this is too long I just don’t want to mess this up because this is a big project. Hi there💞 1. Plush yarn definitely works great for this project and the Sweet Snuggle sounds perfect since it's bulky weight. However I won't recommend this yarn for beginner crocheters.plush yarn is not easy to work with because it's hard to see stitches and this pattern requires lots of stitches counting. If you're a skillful crocheter (intermediate or higher) plush yarn wouldn't be a problem at all. 🧶 2. The amount of yarn you'll need depends on the size and the length of the cardigan (this pattern provides size guide for XS to XXL). You'll see more info of tools & materials in the beginning of the video (after the intro). Also details of yarn in meters is down in the description (we use meters as unit to buy yarn because it's closer to accurate than using grams or skein, since different material weights differently, info of meters always included on the yarn's label) 3. It took me around 5-8hours to make one 😉 depends on my mood and how committed I am to finish it ✨ I hope this helps and feel free to ask me anything else if you'd like to 💗

I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong! I have 46 for my first row (size medium version) but the marker numbers leave me at the very last double crochet stitch - not the one next to it. And then the next row (row 2) I only have 51. I made the size XS first and it turned out great though :)

Hi❤ Is there any way you forgot the last stitch is the begin-chain of row 1 (not the Dc stitch but the C2)? To make clear, we have 46 sts (including the begin-chain count as 1 st) so, you'd se at 6:00: 2st (first mark) + 12sts (after 2nd mark) + 19sts (after 3rd mark) + 12stst (after 4th mark) + 1st (last st/begin-chain of row 1) = 2+12+19+12+1 = 46 🧶

I decided to try and make it with dk 3 ply yarn and i am at the end of row 8 at the moment and making the same size. My stitch count is correct but mine looks much smaller than yours does i dont know if this is because of the wool change. Thanks for any advice. Heres where i am at the moment 23:24

Hii💞 yes, the Dk yarn will give smaller looks for the cardigan like the grey one that I showed in the intro. The yarn in the tutorial is Aran No.4, so it's slightly bigger 💞

@@ABoCStudio Hey! So I started crocheting this cardigan today (I decided to go with double crochets itself since I'm new to the lemon peel stitch). I am a size M and decided to do the size L since I want the cardigan to be a little oversized. I'm 5 rows in and it feels like the cardigan would turn out to be a little small for me. Should I continue with L or start fresh with the XL measurements

@@knowledgebank9115 hii, if the upper part (neckline) feels smaller then you should definitely go for an up size. However if you just feel like the lower part (shoulder&underarm) can ne extended more then you can keep going and then later before we separate the arm-holes you can add more row than the pattern if you like 🧶

hi! i wanted to ask if the stitch count in the description for the lower body is right? im working a size medium and it says that after the 16th row the stitch count should be 151, but i only get about 100 when i count. ive been counting the stitches consistently after a few rows and everything has been right so far.

​@@ABoCStudio hi, thank you for answering, i have 194 DCs on row 15, and the shape seems to be correct. my only thought is that i somehow connected the sleeves wrong and theyre too big compared to the body, so i counted how many DCs are in each sleeve, (so the stiches between the chain 1 spaces that i connected) and both the sleeves have 45 DCs in them, if that is any help.

@@ineffablejuly I see, if you get 45sts on each sleeve hole then sounds like you're on the right track! I just check and I definitely messed up on the numbers for that specific lower body rows. I'll fix that soon. You can just proceed, no worries! I'm not 100% sure but as I roughly recalculate, for size M that your working on the number of sts for that lower body part should be 108! Is it?

Different yarn will give you different look/feel to the cardigan but the size still gonna fit✨ so yeah you can pick the yarn you like and just follow the instructions for your true size💞

Hi💞 You base it on your daily clothes size. Also if you prefer the your clothes to be oversize for comfy you can consider an upsize. And likewise, you can consider a downsize if you'd like the piece to hug to the body more 😉🧶
