Thank you so much for showing us how to count in that chain 3 you made at the start of the round. Many tutorials have you add a stitch in the same same space as the ch 3, and that can be confusing to me because its often hard to see exactly where to put the hook

I'm teaching myself to crochet and I picked face scrubbies as my first project. I tried doing the magic ring method and made a big mess, so I searched and found this, and I'm so grateful for this video! The pattern is so pretty and seems very versatile. It seems like it could be a face scrubber, a dish scrubber, a coaster, or the 'lid' to a jar depending on size! It's hard for me to tell dimensions when videos are close-up, so I was wondering how many centimeters/inches across these face scrubbies should be? I use a 4.5 mm hook because I tend to stitch tightly. Thank you so much!

Just making your scrubbies for my teenage granddaughters. If I wanted to put another extra round of trebles on before the finishing edge, after doing the 3 chain what would the sequence of stitches be all around. They have requested that I make them a bit larger! Thank you for the tutorial.

Hi Marion, if you want to make them bigger, you just need to increase each round by the amount in the starting circle. For example, there are 12 stitches to make the circle. The next round needs to be increased by 12 (i.e 2 stitches in each top of previous stitch (24 stitches).The next round as per the video increases stitches by another 12 (thats why it is two stitches, then one, then two) ((36 stitches) The next round would increase by 12 stitches again so there would be 2 stitches, 1 stitch, 1 stitch, 2 stitches and so on.(48 stitches) If you want to get bigger, there would just be more of the single stitches. The idea is to ONLY increase by original amount of stitches in the chain or magic circle...hope that makes sense.
