This pattern wasn’t easy at first until I was comfortable crocheting through the third loop but I had a hard time locating it at first. I used a really crummy cotton yarn which split so often that I found myself very frustrated. It has become my pattern. It would be nice to have the stitch count at each end of row so we know we’re on point. Very beautiful and quick gifts to make!

I am sorry your yarn gave you trouble. There is a stitch count at the end of each row on the written pattern. I have to abbreviate the pattern (even more) in order to get it to fit on the video.

No, the third loop is on the back of the stitch about half way down the stitch. When you work in the thirds loop, the front and back loop get turned forward and are visible on the front of the work.
