My niece made me buy 3 skeins of this crazy super chunky bernet yarn to make a blanket for her... turns out... the yarn is too chunky to make a blanket with it. These donuts are perfect! Thanks for the pattern!

Nice! I couldn’t bring myself to make a blanket with this yarn either. It’s perfect for donut pillows 😄

This is adorable! My daughters have asked me to make them both giant donut pillows. But I haven’t been able to find a pattern to make a 20” finished round donut. Do you have advice on how to make this pattern result in a 20” finished donut? Would I need to add additional increases per row or just continue your method, adding more increase rows until I reach the desired diameter? Thanks for the pattern and the tutorial!
@PopsdeMilkCrochet4 ай бұрын
Thank you! That's a great question and I think you could make a bigger donut by starting with more center chains and adding more increases so it's proportional, for example instead of starting with 24 chains you could start with 36 or 48 to see how that looks. You could also try using double strands of yarn and a larger hook. I hope that helps!

Is there an easy way to figure out how to make this but bigger like a floor pouf?
@PopsdeMilkCrochet2 жыл бұрын
That would be such an awesome floor pouf! I think you would need to alter the pattern or maybe it could work if you have really thick yarn and jumbo crochet hook. In this pattern I used a size 8.00mm hook so I imagine you'd need a 15.00 or 19.00mm hook.

I wish I could upload my picture but I ended up using a little bit larger hook with blanket yarn and did a pillow. It was so cute! Thank you for the pattern!

Hey beautiful, i was just confused by the start of the pink part, so i did the slip stitch in the first chain and chained one after that and did an increase in the same stitch but turned out that i had 32 stitches. What have i done wrong?
@PopsdeMilkCrochet3 ай бұрын
Hmm, that's interesting. I would check to make sure you have 24 chains when you start. Work the first increase in the same space as the slip stitch (2 sc in same space) then single crochet in the next 3 chains and increase in the next. You should have 6 increases in total. Hope that helps! ❤️

Can I make the donuts 2x bigger how it works
@PopsdeMilkCrochet Жыл бұрын
You could try using double strands of yarn and a bigger hook. But if you're using the same yarn you would need to change the pattern so it creates a bigger size.

is it ok if i use cotton wool yarn to make this?
@PopsdeMilkCrochet9 ай бұрын
I haven't tried it with cotton but I don't see why not. I would just make sure it's a similar weight to the Bernat Blanket bulky yarn in the pattern 😊
@VoidWolv7 ай бұрын
The pattern is confusing me, for example is the end of round 12 also the start of round 13? Also mine is tiny, please make a bigger one its so cute
@PopsdeMilkCrochet7 ай бұрын
Thanks for the comment! This pattern is worked in continuous rounds so it's essential to use a stitch marker at the end or beginning of each round because there is no turning or slip stitching at the end of each round. When Round 12 ends, the next stitch is Round 13. Size might vary depending on the yarn you use and your personal tension. The pillow in this video is approx. 9 inches in diameter.

Is it okay to use 6mm hook?
@PopsdeMilkCrochet7 ай бұрын
You can use different hook sizes but if you're also using the same yarn as in the pattern then the size and shape will be different.
