I have done several different kinds of bells. These are my favorite. The bell is just so easy and cute. I put it on the rim and put a pearl on top with the string like tha ones from my childhood. Thank you for sharing this, they are the cutest little things.

Hook: 4.25 mm also known as the G/6 (USA) Yarn: DK weight (3/Light) (I used a 4 weight) BELL ROW 1: into a cinch circle, crochet 10 half double crochets (HDC); tighten circle; slip stitch into top of first HDC (10 stitches). Note: I recommend working over the tail in the next rounds so you don't have to weave it in later. Row 2: chain 1 and work a HDC into the same stich you joined into.
