Crochet fingerless gloves with thumbs, an easy and fast project for beginners.
In this video I used: Paintbox, Simply Chunky, bulky yarn n.5, color SC75. Crochet hook H/5mm.
Average wrists sizes:
S: 5-6in/13-15cm
M:6.25-7in/16-18cm
L:7.5-8.25in/19-21cm
XL:8.5/9.25in/22-24cm

For the cuff: Start with 11 chains. Row1: Start in the second chain from the hook and make single crochet for the entire row. Turn without making a chain. (Total10 stitches) Row 2 to 24: We work, from this row, back loop only. Single crochet throughout the row. Turn. Repeat. *(My wrist circumference is 6 inches-15 centimeters. If you need a different size, adjust the cuff to your needs, add or make fewer rows). Join the two ends of the cuff with slip stitch. Turn as showed in the video. Chain 1. First row: 1single crochet for each row around. Join with a slip stitch (24 rows -24 stitches) Make 3 chains or the *" fake double crochet" * (1 single crochet and 1 chain). Second row: (In this row make 3 increases) Double crochet in the next 6 stitches, 2 double crochets together in the next, double crochet in the next 6 stitches, 2 double crochets together in the next, double crochet in the next 6 stitches, 2 double crochet together in the next, double crochet in the remaining stitches. Slip stitch. Chain1. (Total 27 stitches) *(If you have a different number of stitches, distribute 3 increases as evenly as possible.) Third row: single crochet for each stitch around. Join with slip stitch. Make 3 chains or the "fake double crochet". Fourth row: (in this row make 2 increases, one at the beginning and one at the end) 2 double crochets together in the joining stitch, double crochet in each stitch around except the last, 2 double crochets together in the last stitch. Slip stitch. Chain 1. (Total 29 stitches) Fifth row: single crochet for each stitch around. Join with slip stitch. Make 3 chains or the "fake double crochet". Sixth row: (in this row make 2 increases, one at the beginning and one at the end) 2 double crochets together in the joining stitch, double crochet in each stitch around except the last, 2 double crochets together in the last stitch. Slip stitch. Chain 1. (Total 31 stitches) Seventh row: single crochet in each stitch around. Join with slip stitch. Make 3 chains or the "fake double crochet". Eighth row: (in this row make 2 increases, one at the beginning and one at the end) 2 double crochets together in the joining stitch, double crochet in each stitch around except the last, 2 together in the last stitch. Join with slip stitch. Chain 1. (Total 33 stitches) Try it on or measure your glove, place a stitch marker in the hollow between the thumb and forefinger. (11 stitches in my case) For the palm: First row: single crochet in each stitch around. Join with slip stitch. Make 3 chains or the "fake double crochet". (Total 22 stitches) Second row: double crochet around. Join with slip stitch. Chain 1. Third row: repeat the first row Fourth row: repeat the second row Fifth: Slip stitch in each stitch around. Close. (Adjust the number of rows to your needs by alternating them). For the thumb: First row: single crochet in each stitch around. Join with slip stitch. Make 3 chains or the "fake double crochet". Second row: double crochet around. Join with slip stitch. Third row: Slip stitch in each stitch around. Close.
