1 skein/ball of Red Heart With Love Lettuce Yarn
1 skein/ball of Red Heart With Love Fruit Punch Yarn
6.5mm Crochet Hook
6.0mm Crochet Hook
Craft Scissors
Yarn Needle
Starting at the Crown
Notes: ch 2 = 1 dc st
With Lettuce Yarn and 6.5mm Crochet Hook, ch 6, sl st into 1st ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1: ch 2, (work over yarn tail as you go) 11 dc into ring, sl st into BL of ch-2 to join. (12 sts)
Pull on yarn tail to tighten center.
Rnd 2: ch 2, 1 dc into same sp as ch-2, 2 dc into each st around to the end, sl st into BL of ch-2 to join. (24 sts)
Rnd 3: ch 2, * 2 dc into next st, 1 dc into each of next 2 sts, rep from * around to the last 2 sts, 2 dc into next st, 1 dc into next st, sl st into BL of ch-2 to join. (32 sts)
Rnd 4: ch 2, * 2 dc into next st, 1 dc into each of next 3 sts, rep from * around to the last 3 sts, 2 dc into next st, 1 dc into each of next 2 sts, sl st into BL of ch-2 to join. (40 sts)
Rnd 5: ch 2, * 2 dc into next st, 1 dc into each of next 4 sts, rep from * around to the last 4 sts, 2 dc into next st, 1 dc into each of the next 3 sts, sl st into BL of ch-2 to join. (48 sts)
