HI here ! I would suggest still doing the chain 2 or even a chain 1 and then do a half double crochet stitch in to the 1st stitch.. when you crochet back across do you half double crochet stitch into the hdc not the chain stitch
@CrochetwithClare12 жыл бұрын
Hi, you need to weave the ends in, by getting a large eye needle and weaving the tails of your yarn in between the stitches
@CrochetwithClare12 жыл бұрын
You can use double crochet, the work will be more of a open weave and not so warm
@CrochetwithClare12 жыл бұрын
I make the chains loose, or you can use the half double crochet foundation row :)

I love this scoodie!!! I have two quick questions for you. Can this project be done with one strand of yarn? What would happen if you didn't use two strands to complete it? I'm still learning how to crochet so any answer will be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much for sharing your talents.

make sure you are adding the extra loop necessary at the end before you double-back, otherwise you'll get a slant or triangle shape.

@JANEEDISTURBED10 жыл бұрын
You can also use a Stitch Marker to mark where you want to add the hood part. They can be store bought, or I just use what I already have at home, one of those over-sized safety pins! You can also use silver jewelry making wire, or something like it. But they sell stitch markers in the craft sections of most stores, the isle (most likely) where they sell yarns and the hooks. But to save money, you can use an oversized safety pin, or just a large regular safety pin.
