I love this pattern it was so much fun to make.If I wanted to make it larger how do I calculate the increases is their some kind of formula?
@CrochetwithClare
@CrochetwithClare 4 жыл бұрын
Mary S was the first to ask and this is the advice I gave her I haven't tried it myself but that is how I would do it if i was going to Your last increase round is ....round 36 - shell into the next 5 spaces inc into the next You could try following the increase sequence and go back to round 11 and - shell into the next 6 shells, increase into the next Then follow the instructions from there.. Mary's feedback I just wanted you to know I'm up to row 50 and it is working out as you said! I'm doing an increase row every 5th row (shell in next 6, 7, 8 and so on) and 4 rows of round 7 (no increases) in between

Clare I love all your tutorials. I would like to ask if you think this rug would turn out okay using worsted variegated cotton? It's by sugar and cream in a faded denim. Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your lessons.

I’m working on this and it’s lovely. You’ve given the same advice on how to make it bigger and I want to make sure I’m understanding. To make it larger after around 36 go back to round 11 and repeat the pattern from round 11 up to round 36 again. Is this right?

Hello Kelly, so sorry for the slow reply, a heap of comments went missing and they just appeared in my inbox.....3 weeks later/ Maybe they went the scenic route to my emails LOL Yes that is correct what you asked

I am currently crocheting this blanket/rug using Lion Brand Ice Cream in Parfait. I am on my second skein and would like to know how many skeins more I will need to finish it. I'm up to row 29 so far
@CrochetwithClare
@CrochetwithClare 2 жыл бұрын
It depends on how big you would like your blanket. Since that yarn is a lighter weight yarn closer to a DK/8ply, you will need several skeins of the yarn to make the blanket a standard size. I used almost 5 or 6 balls that were 7oz each and the yarn you have is half that so you will definitely need many more to make it the same size. I would just keep going until the blanket is as big as you like.

I love this pattern! I'm new to crochet and I think it's turning out fabulous! I do have a question. when using different colors do you always make sure they use the same hook size?
@CrochetwithClare
@CrochetwithClare 8 жыл бұрын
+Brooke Cress Hello, Yes, all your yarn will be the same thickness and you will use the same size crochet hook :)

Hi I was wondering if u can tell me how to continue this pattern so that it is bigger
@CrochetwithClare
@CrochetwithClare 9 жыл бұрын
Sandy Chapman To make the blanket bigger So your last increase round is ....round 36 and its is - shell into the next 5 spaces inc into the next You could try following the increases and go back to round 11 and - shell into the next 6 shells, increase into the next ..... Then follow the instruction from there....havnt tried it myself but I gave this advice to another lady and she managed to get it to 70 rounds :)
