Beautiful stitch for many uses. Multi color applications make this a show stopper using just scrap yarns. And by adding a solid back a wonderfully thick pot holder for the holidays. Love it!

What a beautiful pattern. I will be following your easy instructions to create this greater project. I can see a loose comfortable sweater coming from these squares. I'll have to figure out how may skeins of yarn i'll need. From what I am seeing it looks like you are using a DK weight yarn, although I could be wrong, I will be using DK.

When you start round 3 you're telling people to look for the ch-3 sp, but if you're putting the hook into the spaces of the first round, that was only a ch-2 between the dcs, not ch-3.
