SUGGESTION: Please consider producing a part 2 of this video about exactly how you would suggest joining these beautiful squares together. A part 3 could be a final border you would suggest for surrounding this blanket.

I didn't want to kurb anyones creativity with giving set rules for these squares incase people wanted to join them diagonally or mix them up with solid coloured squares HOWEVER, if you wanted them exactly as they look in the thumbnail, I'd be tempted to either sew them together OR crochet them together at the BACK of the work - you can do any join you'd like though! 😃🧶 You could also keep going and make one large granny square blanket if you prefer? You could experiment with the colour changes to make all sorts of patterns! As for borders, again, I don't like to give set rules so literally ANY border you fancy really!
@dennys95062 жыл бұрын
A mattress stitch would hide the joining seam and then a simple double crochet boarder could be a suggestion.

I learned this pattern from a different KZbin video, but I love how you put 2 chains in the corners instead of 1, I think it helps it lay more flat. I also really appreciate you showing the back, because I thought I was making a mistake by being able to see the color carries. You're an awesome and thorough teacher!

Would I slip stitch until the first corner or would I start it like row 4? And then would I do 3 double crochets with the rainbow into the open space right before the corner or no? Lol thanks in advance to anyone that can explain it lol

A variegated yarn sure makes a nice square with the white yarn with it. I'll need to try carrying the yarn. I've never tried it but wow it looks amazing. Thanks. 😇🙂

Gentle pulling. And check as you go that it's hidden and you didn't forget to hide/sandwich it in between.
