Just finished my mug cozy project! Thanks for the great tutorial! This was my fourth crochet project ever and it turned out just perfect! Thank you! (And I love that you show how to meet up at the end of each row because a lot of videos skip that part and it is so crucial to not getting lost).

Lovely video. I'm looking forward to making some of these and the hat. May I recommend Deja of Crochet Ever After's method of joining the foundation row? There's no gap in the bottom as it's joined from bottom to top as you go. Off to look at the hat video now xx

Hi Claire, I love the heart cup cozy. I wondered if you have any other patterns for cup cozy's. I think a yin yang pattern might be neat, but I have no idea how to work it. Trees or wreaths might be cool around the holidays. I just wondered. Thanks for all of your videos. I love working patterns along with you!
@CrochetwithClare7 жыл бұрын
hi, sorry no i don't have any other cozy patterns. you can always draw a design out on graph paper in place of the heart

I love this. I would like to see how you can do this with a scarf. I know it would be "one sided" but it would be cool huh?
@CrochetwithClare9 жыл бұрын
Sounds very cool kewtkitty but i have no idea how to do it as you will have the strings on the back of the work :(
@mariayssabelmagsino66159 жыл бұрын
+bobwilson123 you can sew in the lose strings but depending on the length and color it can work.

Hello, this pattern is stiff by nature, so it may not be suitable for that type of project

I'm working this as a test run. I'm following the pattern, but for some reason when I get to the end of the round I have too many stitches. In other words I would have to do a few more stitches so I will be able to join. I'm not really sure how/where I could be adding stitches. Any ideas or suggestions?
@kaylone.73668 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure what I was doing before (maybe just late-night frustration), but I started over and successfully completed the project. Thanks for asking to share and sharing this video. You're very easy to follow along with!

Is there a way you can make a video making only the heart in the middle for a coffee mug with a handle.
@CrochetwithClare6 жыл бұрын
Hello, I am not sure on how to do that, I do not think it would be very secure if it was only the heart as it wouldn't hug the coffee cup
@berthaz25836 жыл бұрын
bobwilson123 : thank you for your reply. What I meant was to make the cozy to cover the cup, but adding only one heart (the middle one in the graph) instead of three of them.
@CrochetwithClare6 жыл бұрын
you could just make the same thing only making the one heart and instead of doing the others just make the fpdc across the rest of it to keep tension. that would most likely be the easiest wya

Just a quick question for you why are you using Super Saver yarn acrylic yarn will melt if you use it know if you use it for a jar I can see that but that is a cup for coffee what I'm trying to tell you is I understand that you are using it as a demonstration I just am letting you know using acrylic yarn for a cup like that is not a very good idea
@CrochetwithClare6 жыл бұрын
Hello, thank you for your concern, I have not had a problem with it on my coffee cup, I do understand what you are saying though,, things like hot pads, I would defiantly use cotton :)
