It took me about 2 months to make it, but it was so worth it. I made mine with indigo blue as the primary color, and white for the sleeves and trim, and I've gotten so many compliments on it. THANK YOU for not only making this pattern free, but making it super easy to follow for those who are beginners. Highly recommend doing this pattern!

as someone who has never done it, its so crazy to wrap my head around crocheting. at least with sewing pieces of cloth together it seems straightforward cus you can easily visualize each piece, but then you get to crocheting and you make it all with only a string and the proportions are eyeballed in your head- this skill is always gonna blow my mind

Thank you so much for this awesome tutorial! I just finished mine and it is my favorite thing I've ever made. For reference, I am a 5,11" female around 135 lbs, I crocheted 26 rows per hexagon and lengthened the sleeves 11 rows instead of 8, it fits perfect. However, the length could be extended even more as it sits right at the hips, but I love it that way. Thanks again:)

@@ThienKim-zo8xv I used a Worsted/Aran/10 ply wool yarn from Bendigo Woollen Mills in Australia and it used 7 for the main body. The balls themselves are 300m/328yds. I used a silver grey yarn as the borders and it wasn't even a full ball.
