anyone who is looking for written pattern- magic ring 2:22 round 1:6 sc in magic ring 4:48 close up the magic ring 8:30 round 2:6 inc 9:11 round 3: inc,sc 6 times 12:48 change colors on last stich, so insert your hook and yarn over and then pull through with the color of the whale your using.( please follow the tutorial if you don't understand im not good at explaining!) 14:44 round 4: sc 15:32 round 5: sc round 6: sc round 7: sc round 8: sc (insert eyes and magnet 17:59) add stuffing 20:45 round 9: sc, dec 6 times 21:06 close up the hole so cut a very very long tail for sewing 26:49 thread your yarn through a darning needle 27:22 close up the top and sew through front loops of the stich only!! 27:34 fins- slip knot ch 2 single crochet into ch 2 from hook fasten of chaain 1 pull a really big loop and then cut the yarn pull it form both sides (do the same for the other fin) tail- magic ring 35:16 insert 2 sc, dc close the magic ring chain one ,fasten off leave a really really big tail (do the same for other tail) sew the taim to the body 40:41 sew the fins to the body make the second whale 47:54 add blush thanyou for this amazing tutorial lilthings!

I made this but am STRUGGLING with attaching the fins and tail… my MIL and other family members insisted I avoid glue and just sewed them on and tied knots but I feel I did terrible… is using glue normal or is there a better way to secure these parts without it? This was my first ever project btw and your video was great, only two parts had me stuck/confused (as a COMPLETE newbie) and that was 13:10 (only saw you do the single crochet, the increase was implied and it went over my head) and 26:40 (I was off by one stitch? Not sure how.) This was the best follow along I have found, I hope to follow more of your videos in the future!!! 😁✨
