Definitely use KZbin as your resource buy a cheap ball of yarn and practise some of the stitches first. Don't give up it really is a wonderful craft :)

@@CrocreatebySarah yeah I’ll try again but the yarn from this kit is soooo bad and keeps unraveling when trying to do stitches and it’s not working.

I found that too the yarn isn't great. To be honest the best cotton yarn is mercerised yarn from scheepjes it splits a lot less 👍🏻

Please do a tutorial for the kit. I bought Jimmy the dog and I'm a beginner so have no idea what I'm doing 😂

I’ve only done one kit before, the snowman (from the book/film) from hobbycraft. The yarn was awful and the hook wouldn’t have lasted me one round let alone the whole item but he’s great and I’ll definitely use the pattern again x

Yeah I have to say considering there's patterns out there for around £5-6 then this was good value just a few little hiccups lol. But it's good to learn about what to do better especially as we're branching out to make kits 😊

I’ve crocheted before years and years ago and I’ve forgotten everything I’ve learned about it and let me tell you this magic ring is in fact a ring big enough to fit my finger and I’ve watched the beginning 17 times I’m so confused on what I’m doing wrong.

The magic ring does start big and when you pull the little tail it closes smaller :) try the linked video it should have a magic ring slowed down at the beginning :) kzbin.info/www/bejne/gqPJiI1mn6-peJI

I saw a similar kit to this and considered buying , I don’t typically make amigurumi , but this looks good , especially when it’s only £6

The kit was actually OK and it came with a metal hook which is a big plus for me. For the price it was amazing definitely worth a buy 👍🏻

I hate the yarn!!! Now I know why everyone I talk to says " don't use that yarn"

The yarn splits a lot unfortunately I think it's a very cheap cotton yarn that's been used but cotton is the best for amigurumi just not this cotton 😔

This one was from Amazon. Knitty Critters are a big brand in the UK Just not sure the kit held up to the name 🤔

Is my hook (that came with the kit) the wrong size or is the yarn supposed to slide off constantly no matter what?

The yarn really isn't the best in this kit im afraid ☹️ its not you or the hook it's the yarn
