Omg! Thank you! I have seen eo many "beginner friendly" video tutorials that either cover how to increase stitch with their finger or they do it so fast that I cant comprehend. The best part is that in mere seconds you show all the angles I was looking for to finally understand what was going on.

This video may have taken me a lot of tries to understand but now I really got the hang of it. I purchased a Woobles kit for beginners and learning how to make the center ring their way with a slip knot (apparently it was supposed to be an easier way than this way) was IMPOSSIBLE! No matter how many times I followed exactly how the tutorial instructed, it wasn't turning into a ring. To anyone who was struggling with this video, trust me you'll get it. It's frustrating (I would know I almost had a mental break down lol) for it to not click immediately but what worked for me was that I kept going back multiple times to see how she was doing it until I finally caught on. I truly appreciate this video, I'm really starting to love learning how to crochet. Thank you!!!

I bought a (not cheap!) beginner amigurumi kit in January in order to make a gift for my child for Valentine’s Day. I watched all the kit’s videos, along with what felt like every other magic ring tutorial on KZbin. It has been the most frustrating experience, especially since I am accomplished at sewing, embroidery, and knitting, but I found it impossible to create a magic ring until I found your video. The key piece of information you provide is that not only do I need to crochet through the magic circle (which I knew), but that in order for it to work, I have to crochet over the tail as well. Not one other beginner magic ring tutorial that I’ve seen mentions that (and trust me, I’ve watched a ton). Since January, I have been spending 10 - 15 minutes at least four evenings a week, trying to master the magic ring, until I get to a point where I have to put it down to maintain my sanity. Your video is the breakthrough I needed, and I have now spent the last hour crocheting, undoing and re-crocheting a magic ring to cement this skill in my brain. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This has been the bane of my existence for years. I tried so many videos. Thank you SO MUCH for this, turns out what I needed was A) a slow enough explanation to be able to replicate it on my own and B) the note to make sure to crochet over both strings! That was why I could do as many correct rings as I did and always failed! Now I'm on the path to a little crochet kitten and couldn't be happier. Thanks so so much!

@doubledutchcrochet Жыл бұрын
If your working with medium weight and fine yarn (size 3 or 4) I like to use a 2.5 or 3mm hook as I find it helps keep your stitches closer together with less holes! Or try using bigger yarn such as size 6 yarn with a 5.5mm hook, you may find that easier !🥰

This was THE best magic ring tutorial ever! I'm a beginner and started crocheting a Woobles "beginner" kit because it's supposed to be for beginners, BUT the tutorials are way too confusing in my honest opinion or maybe my brain wasn't braining😅 This tutorial was very clear, straightforward and not too fast. I usually don't make comments, but really wanted to thank you for your clear and concise tutorial. Thank youu🤩 Subscribed! :)

At first my brain was not braining but now it does and it’s the only tutorial where I actually understand! ❤❤❤❤ Tysm! I love you ❤❤❤ for people who don’t understand I hope you understand someday and instead of crotcheting into the circle 8 times, do it 6 because 8 will give a big knot at the end. Btw 6 is the real amount your supposed to be doing it for beginners. If you’d like to do 8 that’s on you but I’m so happy right now I’m screaming 🎉🎉🎉😊😊😊😊😊

I have watched so many videos trying to learn how to do this and truly thought I was never going to get it down. Watching this video, I got it right the first try. Thank you so much for this video.

Thank you for literally doing this step by step and explaining what you're doing 😭 Explaining and showing how you held the ring at the start helped, I was struggling because the slip stitch(?) kept slipping above and under until seeing how you held it

Honestly thank you!!! I have subscribed because 1) this is the ONLY video that I have been able to follow so easily and 2) you actually continued on past just creating the magic ring ... Honestly making the magic ring is the easy part.. the hard part for me is crocheting into it and increasing. So I appreciate that you went right into that next step! ❤❤❤
