A lovely stitch pattern. A twist on the shell pattern. It's exactly what I was looking for plus compatible multiples. Thanks for posting this on your page.

Love this! The only thing I changed was the begging chain and end stitch for the shell rows. Chain 2 at the beginning and half double crochet at the end. I find doing this makes the edges look better for me.

How do you make the sides look more finished and pretty?
@Meladora16 жыл бұрын
If it's an afghan, then maybe add fringe to the points that stick out or if you know how to crochet down the side of afghans then you could crochet a border around the whole thing. I personally think the edges are what really makes this afghan pop, I would go with the fringe is you felt it needed something more.

I wish I could hold a crochet needle that awkwardly in my hands, but as much as I've tried, it's not happening. I have to hold the hook like I'm holding onto a handle bar. But then again, I knit differently than most people do, too.

Hi I left a query asking how to increase this pattern to make a Rectangular shawl, please ignore, I am having a brain Fog day, I saw Rectangular but Brain registered Triangular. ha ha. sorry, think the lady was Debra.
@BarbaraEyre5 жыл бұрын
This would look pretty at a shawl. Maybe someone has a written pattern for that somewhere online ....
