Thank you for this video. I was looking for a simple stitch to use for a summer blanket for my bed. It's perfect when a duvet is way too hot but a cotton sheet is too chilly. I love it! 🤩

You are an excellent teacher and I’ve been binge watching all of your videos. My question for you is this: what is the difference between this stitch and the moss stitch? Just chaining one in lieu of two?
@nastycasio39993 жыл бұрын
My understanding is that the mesh stitch the stitches go in the stitch of the previous row while the moss or granite stitch places the stitches in the chain space of the previous row

Any suggestions or resources you can point me to on how to increase and decrease neatly with this stitch? I've been working on a sweater with this stitch but cant seem to get garment shaping down in this stitch pattern.

What brand crochet hook (plastic) size “L” and higher do you use? I have large sizes in metal but they are so heavy. And I like the pointed tip with slant like Susan Bates

@DaisyFarmCrafts5 жыл бұрын
Carlette Moser moss stitch is a bit different. In that stitch you work the single crochets in the chain one spaces and chain one across the single crochets.
@stephturner30744 жыл бұрын
@@DaisyFarmCrafts Hey thank you - that was my question too. Can you post a comparison of the results of these two stitches? Thanks again - nice videos!
@stephturner30744 жыл бұрын
@@DaisyFarmCrafts My other question is also regarding the Moss stitch - where I have seen it done differently - what do you call alternating a Slip Stitch with a Half Double? (which is more difficult because the top of the Slip stitch seems to end up on the reverse side and it is hard to grab quickly) This Mesh is so easy and fast to do and I like the pretty outcome - hopefully mine will turn out as pretty. :) Thanks again!
