I used Caron Simply Soft and a size 5 hook. I began with 80 rows for the ribbing and 18 rows for the hat. It came out perfect!! Thank you for making this tutorial easy to follow and modify!!

Hi there! Thank you for a most enjoyable tutorial! I just finished this hat! It looks great and I enjoy listening to your calm teaching voice. Wondering if you have the pattern available to download, as my phone is the only way I have to follow along. I'm hopping to have my daughter print out the pattern for me so I'll have it for future use. Thanks so much!

I had made a suzette stitches scarf; I use Caron Simply soft using 5ml hook .. can I make this hat ? Thanks kindly for your wonderful tutorial, very well done ‘
@mycozeplace2 жыл бұрын
Yes you can, you just might need to check your measurements. Caron simply soft is a lighter weight yarn so it can possibly change the size of your stitches depending on your tension.

I did follow the pattern and used a 4wt yarn with a 6mm hook but getting to 62 rows for the ribbing that barely went past half way around my head. I thought I had an average sized head, so either I did something seriously wrong or I have a ENORMOUS head. :-(
@mycozeplace Жыл бұрын
Hey there…. I do tend to crochet tight so if your having this problem it might be a tension thing. Try going up to a 6.5mm hook size for the brim and you could even do the body in a 7mm hook size if you need. Since posting this I’ve learned a lot so next video a gauge will be provided

Kari Owens I’m so sorry but I do not have any written patterns on any of my patterns. I’m still learning how to do patterns myself but I would be happy to try to help you if I can 👍🏻

Is there any chance of getting written instructions?? I just do better that way I have some disabilities.

Hello Gina, I’m currently going to be working to get my channel a makeover along with these patterns. I’ll be writing these down as patterns so stay tuned.
