excellent tutorial and clear video. I appreciate some people may have liked full video but if they take time and rerun video your lovely poppy can be made. its lovely and a little different to many other designs. I would like a paper copy for my friends who are not so good with computers but cannot find the written pattern. best regards Rose UK

Hi Bob I watch many of your videos and love making your projects. I am still fairly new to crochet but I'm doing more technical things. This may sound like a silly question but I need to figure out how to hold my crochet work and the yarn so I can improve my speed. I use my finger to pull the yarn over the crochet hook rather than keeping tension on the yarn to pull hook through the loop. I can't seem te get the hang on it. Do you have any video teaching a method of holding yarn and getting hook through loop without using fingers to assist? Thanks. It's back to basics I know! X

I would love to see if you have a way to add a Crochet stem?

Ok I was stuck too when she said carry on on your own but think I’ve got it sorted ..... after you’ve done your trebles into the four front stitches at 2340 go back to 1412 and carry on from there to finish your second petal, then repeat for your third by starting again on the four raised stitches on the back of the second petal you’ve just made and then again when you’ve done your four trebles on the four front stitches go back for the second time to 1412 and continue to finish last petal.

Can you please explain why your first red round, of 12 increases which would usually make a flat circle, created a cupped shape?
@CrochetwithClare2 жыл бұрын
Hello Jan, my first round curls up because I am using a smaller crochet hook that is too small for the yarn recommend, but this also creates tighter tension
@misstortitude2 жыл бұрын
@@CrochetwithClare I did too but no curl
@CrochetwithClare2 жыл бұрын
@@misstortitude do you have loose tension usually? If so this could be why
@misstortitude2 жыл бұрын
@@CrochetwithClare no tight, I usually need to use a 4.5mm for dk

Hello Margaret, thank you for your feedback. If you are on a PC you can slow down the video in your setting, its on the bottom right of the KZbin video screen. The 3rd petal is exactly the same as the second :) Here is a video I found that explains how to slow it down kzbin.info/www/bejne/gYDNnYtne9eqbJI
