I have the same Bobbiny cord yarn and also a 9mm hook but I'm struggling with getting the hook in when I am doing the first row (2 stiches in 1). I have tried crocheting very loosely but it's still too tight 😢. Do you have any advice? ☺️

Why does in the first round the invisible stitch not count (invisible stitch from back and front and then 2 in each) but in the second row it seems to count (1SC, 2 SC in the remaining stitches)?
