This is such a cute idea! You really need to have a written pattern to follow along with though, it can be confusing. I've written it down as I go but now I'm nearing the end you seem to jump from 26 stitches in row 38 to 27 in row 39 with no increase. I'm confused!

i'm writing it down. will report back For spirals 1. SC 7 into magic ring (7)- closing ring by starting next round (2 sc into far back loop- mark the first stitch) 2. 2 SC into every single FAR back loop- place stitch marker on the first stitch so you know what round you are on (14) 3. 1 sc into first sitch of this round, then 2 SC the next , repeat this pattern of (1 sc, 2sc) for every far back loop of this round (21) 4. Slip stitch into first far back loop of this round. finish off Repeat this process again, to second spiral. This time leave the last two stitches empty- 1 hdc, then 2 dc in next, into these last two spaces. CH1 and fasten off (round with no Dc at end is back spiral. Round with DC at end is front spiral)

I made one with white and red yarns (two strands). It's suprisingly so cute. But I also use a drawstring bag as the lining for it. I have a question about the last increasing row. It's actually three DC in the middle stitch, right? Otherwise why the last row has 11 DC?
