How ironic....my daughter asked me to make her a crossbody bag large enough to hold her laptop, and this is the general design of how I'm making it. I plan to line it to carry some of the weight, and make handles over rope, to also disperse some of the weight. I figured single crochet would be the strongest stitch to use, but I'm doing it using both loops. Should I be doing this in back loop only? I am using #4 weight yarn and a 4.5 hook. Any thoughts/comments/suggestions you may have would be greatly appreciated.
