To prevent 2 yarns from getting tangled when changing colors: At 3rd sc, Insert hook in 3rd sc, pull thru blue yarn (2 bliue loops on hook) Bring blue yarn to front of work and yo and pull thru with white yarn. Keep your blue yarn in front of work and white yarn to the back. I learned this when I did a gingham blanket. Great tutorial and instructions. Well done

Decrease a few evenly spaced stitches in each of the last 3 rows. Tapers the top gradually.

Love the knit look. Do you have any suggestions on how to finish off the top neatly enough not to need a pom pom? Maybe so it looks more seamed than gathered?
@CarinaPiersay2 жыл бұрын
You can do a couple of decrease rounds to make the top of the hat less bulky. I think that’s what I will do.

Such a cute hat. What would you suggest for the number of ribbing rows and knit stitches if you needed an extra large hat or a child size hat. Thanks for this tutorial.

I’m interested in making the stitch markers! How did u get or make the Starbucks insignia to add to coffee cup? Also, love to make the coasters soon. As for the cute blues and white hat, would you say, Sarah, thst changing hook sizes will also change size of hat?? Thanks for your sharing so many projects with us. I made your Cute snow globes and stuffed snowmen again this year. They are popular. 💕

Hi, I wanted to comment on your O GO yarn owl but comments have been turned off on all 3 parts. He is Soooooo cute. May I ask the colorway of the yarn and what size safety eyes did you use? Oh, and the needle size? And you used a K hook?? Oh my gosh! I just want to make lots and lots of them. Lol Thank you for sharing the pattern and your talents ❤🌷

What weight yarn is that? DK or worsted?

You don’t really need to show every sc in the row. I think people get the gist by 10. The stitch you’re doing is called the Waistcoat stitch.
