Thanks so much for sharing this! Your instructions were so clear & made it really easy to follow. In fact, I started over another project that I used another (book) instruction that made it look wonky. I even had another friend try it, with the same result, so it wasn't just me. 😄 Yours is so much better, the stitches lay down flat. Thank you again. (PS. All your other videos are good, too)

A helpful tip when teaching someone is to explain what stitch you are ending the row on & pointing to where stitches go. Its not clear which stich we're supposed to end on because you don't explain the number of stitches per side growing exponentially each time, if that make sense. I cant see where you put the double crochets in to.

Can I used this pattern to make doilies with this pattern? I love we your work!!!!💕💕💕

What kind of tension should I be using for this? Thanks!
@CraftingHappinessCrochet3 жыл бұрын
Tension doesn't matter on this pattern, the tension is mostly used when crocheting wearables because you want your sample to match the designer's sample and therefore to come out the right fit, but with blankets, it makes no difference if yours comes out a few centimeters smaller or large. I hope this helps :-)

Would this tutorial be good to use for your deer lovey pattern? I'm struggling to get my hexagons to come out right for the blanket
@CraftingHappinessCrochet4 жыл бұрын
This is not the exact pattern for the deer lovey. If you have bought the deer lovey pattern, it comes with support from me to help you finish it, send me a message in the shop (etsy or ravelry) and I will help you figure it out.

What brand of yarn did you use? Love the tutorial!
@CraftingHappinessCrochet2 жыл бұрын
It's Marriner Yarns Aran. Thank you 😊

@@CraftingHappinessCrochet did you use the same brand for the light yellow in your honeycomb blanket? I'm thinking of buying the pattern and making it but want to figure out yarn costs haha
@CraftingHappinessCrochet2 жыл бұрын
@@helen4705 no, I haven't, but the pattern works with any yarn, from bulky to Aran or DK. All you have to do is make more or less hexagons. Don't gets stuck in the shades, you need 2 shades of yellow and a cream. I hope this helps

Thank you for this! I found it very easy to follow. Just a heads up, I think the written instructions for the first round are wrong on your website, you said to do 3 DC instead of 2DC for the first round. Thank you again!

This was not easy to follow as you move too fast in between steps and you do not show your work clearly. As a beginner this is not a good tutorial for you.
