I love this stitch! I did the sample and I have a question regarding the last row. Mine is curvy at the top where the buds are. How do I make it straight so I can add a border?

sorry for the late reply! A sc row should do the trick to match the bottom. 1 in every stitch?

@@terrileifert hi! I haven’t tried the last row. But I’ve had a look at the pattern again and I’m thinking try a half double crochet at each end and try placing 3 single crochet into the stitch where we normally Do the rose bud? Let me know if that works. There’s no real method, you can try between hdc and sc to get a straight edge at the top. Hope that helps x

On your chain, you didn’t do the plus 2. Does that make a difference?

Hi I do apologise. It’s just a multiple of 3. Do not add 2. For the blanket chain 120. I made 2 patterns one with and without the single crochet row, Hence the confusion.
