I'm a lefty. Learned from a book when I was about 10, i am now 62! Used to be a drummer and always held my drum sticks with the overhand grasp. I do the same with my crochet hook--much less movement of my left hand. Cat Hand's method seems awkward. "to each their own..." Otherwise, some of the other instructions were good/helpful.

So after the you skip the first one do you go on to the next without skipping

Yes, when you’re making the first single crochet on the chain stitches, you only skip the first chain when you begin that first row, then go on to the next without skipping. Thanks for watching! 😊

I'm left handed. I had a stroke back in July and of course it effected my left side, I've had P.T. and O.T. To try and do everything in life, but my hand and brain has left me slow and hard to concentrate Someone suggested that I try crochet, but I don't know any left handed people. To teach me. Thanks for your, you tube video.
