Hi, Thank you so much for this wonderful poncho pattern! My favourite trim is the love note, it looks absolutely gorgeous!! I used a 1/2 size larger so it was easier to get over doll's head(My Life-Walmart) and still using the regular worsted weight #4 yarn. Can hardly wait to try your other patterns. My mother also passed away 11 years ago, I will always miss my mom. I named my doll after my mother. Be kind to yourself.

I worked your crochet pattern for the Poncho along with you and I was so happy with how it turned out. I stayed for the final part to see what you were up to and heard about your loss. I couldn't respond right away because it reminded me of when my mother died. She had suffered from ill health as well and was bedridden before she passed . I was happy that she was no longer suffering, but of course sad to lose her. So, I do understand and you have my deepest sympathies.

I really enjoyed this I downscaled it for a 6"doll and unbelievably it worked out. I just need to put a border on it. Thank You! I found a really easy border for people like me who are defeated by things like your love knots, you simply chain three miss a stitch, slip stitch to your work and repeat and it looks way fancier than it is! Now, if someone can find me an easy way to do sleeves for the 12th scale!

Not sure why they don't fit. Most of the dresses are for an 18" doll. They always for my dolls. Maybe you crochet tight and need to use a bigger hook.

So sorry to hear you lost your mom. I lost my mom two years ago on Thanksgiving day. I taught my mom to crochet! I was 8 years old! I stopped and she took off! I wish I took the time for her to re-teach me! Love your patterns. But, this won’t fit my AG doll. I should have noticed how small the opening was before I finished it. how would i make this pattern a tiny bit smaller and still achieve the same look? would i do 25 chains instead of 30? or does it need to be an even number?
