This video is perfectly fine. The only thing I would have added was what size yarn you used. I don't understand all the hate in the comments. She writes the pattern for every row at the top of the video. If you know how to read patterns then it's pretty simple. If not, then maybe you try googling before blaming the artist who is giving you a free tutorial that you don't understand the pattern. If you want to follow her hands, youtube has the option to slow down the speed of the video if you need to. This is such a cute hat, thank you for taking your time to share.

Who appointed you comment monitor? And better, when is it rude to ask for a pattern I asked was there a written PATTERN? As in on one of the many social venues Designers use. MANY HAVE WEBSITES ARE PUBLISHED and SELL PATTERNS. No better way than showing gratitude for something then supporting the business. Perhaps you can’t read patterns and require spoon fed instructions. If so there is nothing wrong with this. On occasion I enjoy listening to tutorials But some people don’t have the time to watch. Lastly it’s always a good practice to review a pattern in its entirety before you approach the project.

Hey, great video. Could you pls write out the steps in the comments. I can understand the stitches and stuff but don't understand where to place extra stitch marker. I would greatly appreciate it.
@zevrxn3 жыл бұрын
idk if it's what she did but i put mine like this: 1 stitch marker at the end of the row, 1 in the middle (since most rows are a x2 repeat), and in the rows where there is [first part, (second part)x3] x2 i put 1 stich marker between the first and second part. in the rows where there is some varying stitches and then like 40 or 50 single crochets i put the stitch marker in the stitch before the sc start, that way if i lose count i need to count only the sc and not worry about the rest. so the 2 markers marking the end and the middle of the row are fixed and the other 2 hop around a bit. but if you're good at keeping track of your stitches you don't even need the extra markers, the only one that is essential is the end of the row bc you're crocheting in a spiral

Notes: - The circle is worked in a spiral, so do not slip stitch at the end of a row - It's better to do a yarn under sc so there are less gaps between stitches

Thank for the tuto! How can I make it a bit bigger please? (Mine is about 53 cm) thanks!
@handmadebyaura643 жыл бұрын
Hey. Your welcome. To crochet this hat you need to use radius of a circle formula. circumference C = 53cm + 1cm = 54cm (for space between head and hat) pi = 3.14 r = C / 2 x 3.14 r = 54cm / 6.28 = 8.6 cm so you need to crochet 8.6 cm from center to fit 53cm head. I hope it makes sense.

what does increase mean? double the stitches?
@AC-ig5rw3 жыл бұрын
Hey, I know your comment was posted two months ago, but hopefully I'll be able to help. An increase means doing two single crochets (in this case) in the same stitch. For example, on the top of the video, during row 2, it says: "increase 8 times". That means to do two single crochets in every stitch. You'll have 16 single crochets by the end of the row. On row 3, it's says: "sc, inc." That means start off with a single crochet and then increase, which means doing two single crochets in one stitch. Then, you'll just repeat that pattern of one single crochet in one stitch and then two single crochets in one stitch 8x (eight times) to complete your third row. Hopefully you get it now and your project goes well! If you have any questions, feel free to just ask me and I'll be more than happy to help :)

Hi! Just wondering what the point of the little clips are
@AC-ig5rw3 жыл бұрын
Hey, I know your comment is a bit old and I'm really late to the party, but hopefully I'll be able to help! The "clips" or stitch markers are to make sure you don't lose track of the beginning of the row. Notice this person isn't slip stitching at the end of row and then chaining one to start the other. This is done so your project doesn't have any lines that make the end and beginning of a row visible. It's a great, easy trick to make your project just a little bit better looking. If you were to lose the beginning of your row, you would crochet forever and ever and not know when you got to the end and you would have an uneven amount of stitches on each side. I highly recommend using stitch markers in projects that do this. If you don't have one, don't worry, you can just use a little piece of yarn and place it in between the first and last stitch of a round. Feel free to ask me any questions if you don't get it!

Hi (●’◡’●)ノ thank you for the tutorial, I made this hat last week as a present and it was so cute! My favourite part was seeing the ears appear, i loved it ❤ I would just like to note though that I skipped row 13 since I noticed it was a repeat of row 12 without increase and everything turned out fine with just the right amount of stitches. Again thanks, it was fun and easy to make (i even learned new stitches and to read a crochet pattern in English)

Actually i think you dont want to show how to do it. As the complicated rows (R5-R6), you didnt make it clear and you made it faster. I watch it many times still dont understand. If your purpose is getting move views, you got it. But many people will not subscribe you after watching this video. Anyway thanks for sharing.
@handmadebyaura643 жыл бұрын
Hey, Jenny. I am sorry to make it hard to understand. When I am filming a video I am getting really nervous, that's why I crochet fast and I am filming with my phone so video quality is not the best. and trust me it's not because I don't want to share this pattern. To crochet "ears" like this in a hat is very simple. Markers in the video represent ears. So when I reach the marker I make an increase and then crochet a single crochet till the next marker and then increase. and everything outside markers is just creating a circle. After a few increases I just crochet single crochets a few rows to make ears a bit roundish and after that instead of increasing just decrease where the markers are at. Did you try crocheting using the pattern above? sc stands for single crochet, in-increase, dec-decrease. I just hope it helped.
