The easiest tutorial so far. I've been trying to make a bucket hat for so long and I just couldn't do it because the other videos doesnt explain the step by step process, they just say the code word for it like for example the "backloops only" and then it's done. Here I also learned how to correctly slip stitch, the seamless type haha. Great tutorial thank you very muchhh ♡ I'm gonna edit this after I finish my bucket hat and tell you guys how it went ^_^ Edit: I'm sorry, I totally forgot about this. Yes I finished it! It is beautiful, I used the techniques she mentioned on the video. I just did some revisions like decreasing the diameter of the top part (the circle part on top) but it didn't go as how I imagined it would. My diameter is only 6 inch which I thought was enough for my head but turns out to be too small. It looked like a baby bucket hat on me because it fits my head like a bonnet. As of now I am restarting it (will add some inch on the top part) because I was not satisfied with the fitting. I'm planning on making a bee inspired design and hopefully would turn out good.

July, 29 Hye, I decided to make a update in making this hat for two reasons. First, I'm slowly managing to do so , and one of the reasons I haven't given up was this comment session Second, I'm with insonia and figured it would be good to put the time I'm awake to good use So, I struggled with the magic ring. I believe most of you did, I even tried my granny's method but nothing changed. It was hard to make the structure to work and when I did that (what too far than some minutes), the base of the hat looked like the curvature of a spoon. Total disaster I almost gave up a billion times and even spend some week without even touching the crochet line. BUT, after some hard time and the line beinf almost useless after so many do's and undo's. ITS WORKING I'm still making it getting bigger and it doesent have a format of a hat yet. But surelly its better than before. I will update later

Hello! This was my first ever crochet project and I just made it! I had to practice with another channel first, on how to hold the hook and yarn and I made a Granny square to get used to the stitches, but then I came back to this video!! It probably took me a few hours but I found the instructions really easy to follow and I just really enjoyed the process! Will be wearing my hat all summer xxx

Great video, easy to follow instructions, and I love all all the tips like looking for the increasing stitches in the row before. I'm an intermediate crocheter and this took me about 3 hours. My daughter asked for the hat this morning and I had it fine by this evening. I started to make a medium but cut back to the small and it's enough. (She's 20 and petit, and I use a medium tension.) Everything went well except the yarn I used doesn't have the same body as the sample, so for my next try I'll find a heavier cotton yarn. Super cute hat, I can't wait to make another! I found a chart with measurements for the crown so I can make baby and toddler sizes. (Your troubleshooting ideas in the FAQ responses are spot on and good tips especially for beginners to keep in mind.) Thank you!!!

It was one of the easiest project ever, thanks to your clear explanations! Definitely made it too small for me, but a win is a win (I made my first-non-chaotic magic ring😂). Will try for another one with more rows. Thank you!

The first time I watched this I was so confused and gave up making bucket hat. But now I got the courage again to make it and finally succeeded. Thank you so much 🥰 though my top is a bit curvy and I can't do the magic ring (I used the chain 4 thing) but it turned out better than before. 🥰

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I started getting into crocheting quite a while ago... But all the patterns I would find were always sooo complicated (and I would get scared and give up before starting). Using this pattern I finally made something besides a regular scarf!
