I had bought one at thrift store. Had brand new tags. 3.oo was the prize. This was made by sewing. So I thought I can make it crochet. My son in law is 23 yrs old and liked it . Asked me to crochet him one in the same color. So here I am trying to follow your instructions but not doing too well. As I am a lover of hats I didn't give him mine. So here iam crocheting. Finally after 3 tries I finished the hat! I used a single stand of red heart super saver a G and F hook. It looks great! Not as stiff as yours but it's wearable!! Thanks for A great tutorial!

Glad I found your video! Is the hat suppose to be tight to your head? I think mine is to big, using an I hook and 2 strands of peaches and cream. On row 22! I might have to rip it out and start over.....again.

I’m making this fedora as a fishing hat for my daughter’s boyfriend. He has braids and when I measured the circumference of his head, it’s 27.5 inches. How do I do the increases so it will fit his head just right? I want him to love it!
