The stripes on the hat are so odd lol! I've only seen that worked into granny squares. I'm going to have to work it straight now so I can see the stripes. I've seen it worked into mosaic projects. Hmm.. all good thoughts, all good thoughts..

Try blotting they Maybelline matt ink lipstick. I find they dry alot faster and it helps it last alot longer.

No it was a thrifted piece I got to to with my crochet top. But a crochet version would be killer

It took me so long to figure out how to wear a liquid lip like the Maybelline one so I get where your coming from!

I'm going to keep playing around with it to hopefully make it work. I have a few other lip liners that it might like better.

If it helps it needs to be one layer don't keep going over it that will make it flake and not stay on 😕 line you lips first then go in with one swipe and let it dry and it won't be sticky and it'll stay on for at least 8 to 9 hours before it starts to fade inside the mouth area

Revlon also makes a long wear black lipstick but idk if they sell it in stores

what foundation did you use??? i'm heading to cali for an event in a few months and i feel like i need a miracle foundation. btw i seriously love every top you make ever. 💖

I ended up using NYX blurring primer sunscreen with their can't stop won't stop full coverage foundation and set with can't stop won't stop mattifying powder. Really happy with the results and everything stayed in place all day. Except for the day that it rained through out but that was to be expected

IF ALL ELSE FAILS FOR BLACK LIPSTICK: Juvia's Place in the shade DuDu is great. Not sticky! However it does fade with food and drinking. Sorry if it seems like Im stalking you 😂 I realized I wasnt caught up and am going down the rabbit hole.

Yes there are different yarn colorways for all of those options. The one I was using here was set up for granny squares but just wanted to see what it looked like in a hat form🎃
