It is so BRAVE to put content such as this, especially, out “there”…I truly cannot imagine having the ability to do so in my twenties! You are INCREDIBLE! Thank you, so much, for sharing with us; even though I’m in my fifties, I can still ABSOLUTELY relate to SO much (hence the all caps text, eh? Oof. Sorry). Thank you! Brightest blessings, hugest hugs to you 🧡

this was definitely worth posting because of the way you are able to articulate things I feel like I already knew out-loud just helps me resonate and recognize it much more than it being an unspoken thought in my head. Thank you for this!

Physical activity has been proven to be a mood booster. Try walking outside (weather permitting), yoga or stretching, dancing in your room.

Oh yeah having stuff done is such a mood booster. When I was at the worst of my depression I would cope to bad news by starting small crochet projects, just to feel like I had done something good. Like yeah I can't do [redacted] but I did THAT cute plushie, I'm allowed to stop crying and sleep tonight.

we don't have a word for 'sparkling water' in my language, but we do have a word for another pretty thing! "Červánky" (plural) is the czech word for the time the sky and coulds turn a pretty red, pink, or orange color at sunset or sunrise :) I've always loved this word.

I appreciate this a lot!! I have some things in common with you especially wanting to feel seen and understood. That’s such a good point about memes I love it. I also have a list of things in my notes app for when I need ideas to get out of a bad state. I just renamed it my dopamine menu lol!! I’ll paste it here 😊 Things to help your mood: - [ ] Go outside for 20 mins, or a walk - [ ] Have a headphones rock out (a few fave songs or a familiar album) - [ ] Choose a cleaning/organizing project and complete it - [ ] Have a yummy snack or drink - [ ] Take some deep breaths and shake it out - [ ] Get high for fun (as opposed to for symptom management) - [ ] Connect with someone - [ ] Have some quiet dark time (low stimulation) - [ ] Everything shower + shave/eyebrows General tips/everyday: - [ ] Get enough sleep, plan ahead for bedtime - [ ] Wake up with enough time to have breakfast and feel ready for the day - [ ] Get sunlight when possible - [ ] Exercise a few times a week (move your body, pt/yoga/walk) - [ ] Always be drinking water - [ ] Connect with the world and with people, mindfulness Thanks for sharing I feel like this episode found me lol ❤
