I’m currently doing a granny shells blanket for my grandpa, my grandma started it right before she passed and so I’m finishing it for him. Update: So I finished the blanket and it looks really good, I don’t have any pictures but I’m really proud of it! He really loves it and says my grandma would be proud. yes anna you can use yarn to stuff plushies etc. i use it and it worked pretty well! plus that way you dont have to waste money and just use your scrap yarn!!

I agree! I used this yarn when I was learning to crochet, and I loved it. My advice is to stick to a light color as you’re learning! The lighter colors make it easier to see the individual stitches! Good luck!!
