Mike, my husband is a biscuit and gravy lover, too. Each and every time we go out for breakfast he has to place an order for biscuits & gravy along with his "regular" breakfast order. There has never been one time when he's been denied a little more/extra gravy for his biscuits. We've traveled expensively, as a military family and as retirees, and during the last 35 years we've encountered ONE restaurant that charged us fir extra gravy --- a mere 50-cents for a small bowl! Next time give it a try and ask fir double gravy when you order.

My wife and I just got home yesterday to New Jersey after spending a week in Gatlinburg. We go every other year or so because we just love it there. I just found your videos about 6 months ago and we love watching them. We visited quite a few places that you guys recommended and it made our visit better than usual. All of your food looked so delicious! I would really enjoy the potatoes. Most restaurants use frozen hash browns and brown them up. They have no flavor whatsoever. I would be thrilled to get some delicious potatoes for breakfast in a restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to see how reasonable your total bill was. When y'all mentioned the reasonable price of the huge cinnamon bun I knew then that they aren't gouging the tourists. Thanks for an awesome review!

We always make it a tradition to eat at the Pancake Pantry in Downtown Gatlinburg before heading home to Murray Kentucky. We'll have to give Crockett Breakfast Camp a try. I just got back yesterday from a family vacation in Gatlinburg! We ate at Crockett’s Breakfast Camp and I’ve got to say it was not worth the 1 1/2 hour wait for us. Their pancakes are really weird and neither of my kids ate more than a few forks full of them and my wife ordered the cinnamon roll which was okay, I was expecting a lot more. I was the only one who thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I ordered an Omelette, I can’t remember which one, but it had all the meats in it 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️ HOWEVER we ate at the Pancake Pantry the first morning we had in Gatlinburg and that set a very high bar!! If you guys haven’t already I highly suggest giving it a shot, every single item that was placed on our table was phenomenal! Sadly they did not serve cinnamon rolls, but we were really kicking ourselves in the butts for not making it a point to have one last meal at the Pancake Pantry before we left Gatlinburg.

I'm going to have to try this when I spend Thanksgiving week there. We got a cabin for that week, finally! That's been my dream to do this for Thanksgiving for years! My husband said if he does that I have to cook all meals but he won't be there the first 3 days so I will be taking my two little grandsons to Crocektts! Lol and definitely going to be getting that cinnamon roll! I could eat that and nothing else and be happy!

I've never been. My brother and his wife went there and had poor service and a server who didn't pay attention. They had to repeat their orders several times. They ended up just getting up and leaving. Again with the cinnamon roll, my blood sugar went up 10 points just watching you eat.

Great review. Agree with everything you all said. That is my favorite breakfast place in the area and maybe anywhere. Loveless Cafe in Nashville probably edges it out by a hair. Hard to find great biscuits and sausage gravy anywhere these days. Used to be everywhere.

We ate there last December. It was good.. the atmosphere is really nostalgic. I'd eat there again since they have call ahead seating now. The food was about like everywhere else. I think we've only ever had 1 bad meal in the Smokies and it was a national chain we shouldn't have gone to in the first place. We try to eat local in the mountains.

That place is always busy when we we went by. Haven't got to try there yet. Tim would of loved it. I would love to try what Karen had ❤ the Spinach Benedict, looked delicious. Kids would love that cinnamon roll. It is amazing how big it is!! Great price too for it less than 5 if heard right. I heard they were lg, but visually seeing it definitely confirms it.. Next time you should order their pancakes, the 💣 bomb! The mix originated from Aretha Frankenstein’s, a breakfast restaurant in Chattanooga. The secret ingredient is buttermilk!
